The A-Isometer IR420 series isolation monitor from Bender boosts the safety of large AC-powered mining machines by monitoring the insulation resistance of ungrounded AC systems up to 300 V. The response range is steplessly adjustable from 1 kOhm to 200 kOhm, and values are displayed on a seven-segment LCD. A large range of supply voltages can be applied to the unit. Connecting an external supply voltage allows de-energized systems to be monitored. Designed primarily for the mining industry, the monitor also can be used in smaller mining applications such as lighting systems and mobile generators.
