SKF Maintenance Products part of the SKF Group has launched a new food grade grease range suitable for use in the Food and beverage and pharmaceutical industries.SKF offers a wide range of bearing greases each specially formulated for the respective field of application. The SKF food grade grease range consists of high quality greases with excellent lubricating ability. Based on aluminium complex soup, the grease offer excellent corrosion protection and high water resistance resulting in better protection of bearing.
SKF Food grade greases have been certified by NSF (National Sanitation Foundation) as H1 category lubricants for use where incidental contact with food cannot be excluded.
The SKF Food grade grease range consists of 3 types of grease; LGFP 2 Food compatible multi purpose bearing grease, LGFL 1 Food compatible low temperature bearing grease and LGFB 2 Food compatible high load bearing grease.
These grease types are available in different pack sizes; 420 ml cartridges, 1 kg and 18 kg cans and 180 Kg drums. In addition SKF SYSTEM 24 single point automatic lubricators can also be purchased pre-filled with SKF LGFP 2 or LGFB 2 grease.
