Electric Linear Drive OSP-E..BV for Vertical Lifting Applications(Jan 11,2007)
HOERBIGER-ORIGA have added the cantilever axis OSP-E..BV to their successful programme of electric linear drives with toothed belt and integrated guidance.

The new drive is designed especially for vertical lifting movements. A comprehensive range of mountings and accessories provides simple solutions for a wide variety of requirements. The aluminium profile has been specially designed for light weight to minimize moving mass.

An integrated recirculating ball bearing guidance system provides outstanding performance for heavy loads and high static and dynamic moments. The moving axial profile is driven by the fixed drive head through which the toothed belt is led. The gearbox and motor are coupled to the drive head with a clamping hub, a hollow shaft or a spigot with coupling.

The OSP-E..BV is ideal for vertical lifting movements requiring high dynamics and can deliver action forces up to 1000 N. The modular concept of ORIGA SYSTEM PLUS enables the OSP-E..BV to be mounted on other drives, for example the OSP-E..BHD, so that multi-axis systems can be easily built up for positioning and handling systems.

The OSP-E..BV is available in standard sizes 20 and 25 mm with freely selectable stroke length up to 1500 mm.
