Ogura electromagnetic clutches provide quick and easy engagement and disengagement of hydraulic pumps, winch drives and other attachments driven by a gas or diesel engine. Available torque range is 100 foot pounds to 1500 foot pounds with single-face friction designs.
Large bearings and a single piece bi-directional spring help the clutch to withstand heavy vibration. Multiple disk units are also available for mounting inside gear boxes in an oil bath environment and can generate torques over 12,000 foot pounds.
