Oriental Motor USA recently announced the introduction of the BLV Series, a DC input, high power brushless motor and driver system with connection cable. The BLV Series is available with either a 200 watt (1/4 hp) or 400 watt (1/2 hp) motor, in round shaft, parallel gear or our new 104 mm (4.09 in) flat hollow shaft (FR) gear with a speed range of 100 ~ 4,000 r/min. The BLV Series is the first Oriental Motor brushless motor and driver system to offer a DC input above 100 watts and is available with an electronic brake for holding during standstill or gravitational operations. The BLV Series is also equipped to facilitate a battery power input. Operations are handled through an I/O control system or RS-485 communications. Functions can be expanded with use of the OPX-2A controller allowing for improved speed regulation, programming and various display functions.
