Statistically, the 8 scientific and technological projects fulfilled by Wanxiang Qianchao Stock Co.,Ltd in the first two months will make them an annual profit over 1.65 million yuan.
“Science and technology constitute the primary productive force.” Qianchao has been seeking efficiency improvement by expoiting their potentials for a long time. Through optimizing production process and technology innovation, they have further enhanced their economic benefit. In the first two months, 8 scientific and technological projects have been fulfilled. Every year Qianchao will carry out various such projects to solve certain problems, such as technical barriers in processing, application of latest technologies, optimizing economic profit etc.
It is the project “Cut Processing Cost of 6.5-96s Type Cross Shaft” that contribute the greatest economic benefit to the company. Due to the improvement in processing and measuring, percent of pass of the cross shaft after the primary processing has been raised to a higher level. Percent defective were reduced from 21% to 0.49%, annually saving 750,000 yuan.
In August last year, customers began to complaint about troubles caused by remanet mixture of debris and grease in the oil hole of the cross shaft. So they setup the projects “Develop Oil Hole Cleaning Device for Cross Shaft”. After various improvements in processing craft, they ultimately solved the problem of remanet mixture in the oil hole by means of high pressure air cleaning. Cleaning rate exceed 98%, annually saving 750,000 yuan for the company.
In addition, they also fulfilled two innovative projects “Develop 687 series Universal Joint” and “Develop QC104097 Automatic Brake Adjuster”. The 687 series Universal Joint was produced as OEM product for European customers and now it has been put into mass production and preparing for delivery. The automatic brake adjuster had passed not only performance and service life test in National Auto Parts Trial Center, located in Xiangfan, Hubei province, but also the trestle trial of the customer. The adjuster have been delivered to auto manufacturers in small but steadily increasing batch. Today the supply volume has become 12.5 times higher than before. Meanwhile, the adjuster futher diversified Qianchao’s product line.
