Dorner Manufacturing has enhanced the durability and reliability of its popular selling 2200 Series conveyors through a re-engineering that completely protects the conveyor’s bearings. Bearings on the 2200 Series conveyor are now installed into a newly redesigned blind housing hole instead of a through hole. This innovation, which protects the bearings from “the outside world” that could prematurely damage or corrode the bearings, significantly adds strength and longevity to the conveyor. The 2200 Series conveyors are engineered to virtually eliminate maintenance. Other features and benefits customers enjoy from the 2200 Series include: - Instant belt tensioning - V-guide bed plate and belt for positive belt tracking - Requires no special tools - Load capacity up to 80 pounds - Belt speeds up to 276 feet per minute - Belt widths between 1.75 and 24 inches - Conveyor lengths between 18 inches and 18 feet Re-engineering the housing unit to accommodate completely protected bearings on the 2200 Series is another value that customers receive when doing business with Dorner and it further enhances the company’s commitment to being truly responsive.
