We would like to announce organizational changes and managerial assignments effective April 1, 2006 as follows: 1. Organizational Changes Engineering Headquarters 1 . We have established the Bearing Basic Technology Development Division, Rotary Component Basic Technology Development Division, Material and Process Development Division, and Cool Tech Division and abolished the Tribology, Clean Technology Development Division. 2. The Bearing Basic Technology Development Division will control the development of various bearings in a cross-organizational manner, and take charge of basic research for enhancement of each bearing business, cooperative development with each business unit's engineering department and basic technology development for the future. 3. The Rotary Component Basic Technology Development Division will control the development of motor technologies for the Minebea Group in a cross-organizational manner, and take charge of basic research for enhancement of each motor business or advanced development for the future. 4. The Material and Process Development Division will focus on the development of manufacturing technology aspects close to the production site. 5. The Cool Tech Division will focus on the engineering customer support in the USA fan motor market.
