Minebea's Chinese Subsidiary is Awarded Accreditation Status

In March 2006, Minebea Electronics & Hi-Tech Components (Shanghai) Ltd. (Shanghai Minebea), a Chinese subsidiary of Minebea Co., Ltd. (Minebea), was awarded an accreditation status of "Excellent" for its customs entries from the Shanghai Customs Brokers Association, an affiliated agency of the Shanghai Customs of The People's Republic of China. This accreditation is awarded excellent and faithful companies for their customs entries from the Shanghai Customs Brokers Association. The recently-awarded first accreditation was given to 21 companies (of which four were Japanese-owned companies), including Shanghai Minebea, from among 446 member companies of the Shanghai Customs Brokers Association. The basis of the accreditation was as follows: First, the Shanghai Customs Brokers Association chose laws and regulations compliance firms. Then, 12 divisions and 5 principal district custom houses of the Shanghai Customs screened those firms, making the final decision. The recent accreditation shows that Minebea has been highly regarded for its everyday customs entry operations. It is a great honor to us. Minebea will continue to strive to make more accurate and faithful customs entries in the future.
