Roundup of April Bearing Steel Market in China

In April, the price of bearing steels were keeping increase steadily, due to the ever-expanding demand and limited source. At present, it's still the first class steel producers who lead the industrial trend. As a result of the great number of military orders and adjusted products mix, output of common bearing steel of the steel makers were limited. Meanwhile, second class producers such as Yongtong Special Steel(Henan province), Shigang Metal Material(Shanxi province), Nanjing Steel(Jiangsu province) etc. developed fast in recent years. Both output and reputation have increased to a higher level. Compared with the first class steel maker, their steel products have competitive price advantages. There are signs that products made by second class steel makers have gradually been accepted by more and more customers. Therefore, price of bearing steel still have the possibility of modest increase in May. In April, average price of GCr15(non-anneal) were RMB4218 yuan/ton, 38 yuan higher than last month; those of GCr15(anneal) were RMB5903 yuan/ton, 203 yuan higher than last month.
