METAV Düsseldorf 2006 Showed a Buoyant Mood

METAV Düsseldorf 2006, which closed last Saturday in Düsseldorf, Germany, has seen a buoyant mood due to high calibre of visitors and high willingness to invest. A total of 47,500 trade visitors were attracted to the show. Among 925 exhibitors from 21 countries, most of them were satisfied with how the trade fair went. They commented that the quality of visitors was higher and more deals were concluded than expected. According to an exhibitor survey, 93% of exhibitors shared the positive verdict on the high professionalism of visitors. The visitor survey showed that the majority of trade visitors were either in top or middle management, in which many were investment decision-makers. According to the survey, 38% of visitors came with concrete investment plans, and just under one-fifth of orders were to be placed at METAV Düsseldorf or in the follow-up to the event. Correspondingly, over 70% of exhibitors expect good follow-up business.
