First-half Hebei Province Meet Prosperity in Machinery Industry
Hebei Machinery Industrial Association source, during first half, Hebei province has met a prosperity for machinery industry in the fields of industrial output, operating margin and new products developing. Automobile, electrical appliance and other industries maintain a strong momentum of growth.
During the first half, operating margin for machinery industries in Hebei hit RMB4.642 billion, increased by a year-on-year 49.53%, continuing its strong momentum of growth. Profit of electrical appliance industry were RMB1.095 billion, a rise of 84.32%; those of automobile and motorbike industry were RMB1.064 billion, increased by 41.75%; for petrolleum chemical machines, RMB469 million, increased by 126.13%; for heavy-duty mining machines, RMB302 million, increased by 84.71%; bearings, RMB235 million, increased by 56.26%.
Of total industrial output value for machinery industry in first half, those created by new products were RMB6.767 billion, 96.49% higher than last year, 64.1 percentage points more than the national average level. This indicated that Hebei provincial government has attached increasing importance to new products developing. Additionally, auto and motorbike related new products contributed a output value of RMB3.376 billion, increased by 329.99%.
However, some experts warned that although operating margin of machinery industry keep on grow in the first six months, further growth would be more difficult later. Price rising of raw materials like steel, aluminum, copper etc, lead to surplus capacity of some goods, influencing the normal production of many manufacturing enterprises. Now majority of enterprises are operating on the verge of collapse, unable to expand their productive capacity any more. Products mix of the industries remain the biggest question.
Besides, many enterprises have drawbacks, like lacking of competitiveness, innovation, being slow to the market dynamics and long upgrading cycle etc.
