Golden Medal for ZKL Roller Bearings Golden Medal of the 48th International Engineering Fair at Brno held in the days of September 18 to 22, 2006 has been awarded to design series of ZKL spherical roller bearings for vibration conditions. These bearings are destined fort mounting of rotating components in various vibration actuators, vibratory screens, vibratory conveyors, building materials compactors and in many other mountings with rotating unbalance. The primary reason for their design is the fact that vibrations in roller bearings result in additional load for loose elements, increased contact load, higher heat generation and, last but not least, in different behavior of lubrication medium. Regular bearings in such settings exhibit very short service life, low reliability and increased maintenance costs. The attached pictures show a general view of ZKL Group exhibition stand on Brno 2006 Engineering Fair and roller bearings awarded by golden medal.
