Roundup of Bearing Steel Market in China September Traditionally, selling of bearing steel is hot in September and October, but this year is an exception. Sales of bearing steel in Sept. still stay in a lower level. About two week's before the National Day(1 October), distributors began their holiday in advance in responding to the gloomy market. INVENTORY All distributors and steel mills had predicted price raise in Sept. so they have abundant inventory. However, based on the present situation, price raise is impossible in Sept. Steel Mills As a result of the price-raise of ferroalloy, leading steel mills raise their price of bearing steel(GCr15) by 100 yuan/ton, attempting to stimulate the market in vain. Xinye Special Steel increase their G20CrNi2MoA by 800 yuan/ton. PRICE In September, average price of common bearing steel (GCr15) in major regions of China were fluctuated between 4128 and 4132yuan/ton; those of anneal bearing steel were between 5642.86 and 5643yuan/ton.
