Honeywell Visit Changjiang Bearing
From Sept. 18 to 22, American Honeywell held their global purchase meeting for their transportation systems in Chongqing city. During the course, delegation from Honeywell visited Chongqing Changjiang Bearing Industrial Corporation.
Sept. 19, a 20 members delegation from Honeywell came to Changjiang Bearing Co.,Ltd, accomponied by officials from Chongqing Economic Commission Foreign Affair Office.
As revealed by Chongqing Economic Commission, Honeywell are planning to purchase auto parts from Chongqing. Changjiang Bearing Industrial Corporation, the key enterprise dealing with auto and motorcycle parts in Chongqing, became the first stop in Honeywell's inspection tour. According to vice president of Honeywell transportation systems, purpose of this inspection tour is to know more about enterprises like Changjiang Bearing.
During the tour, the foreign guests watched video introduction of the company; visited products display hall and workplaces. The delegation members showed great interest in bearings for auto and electrical motors, asking more detail about the company's capacity in high temperature resistant products. Particularly, the guests inspected productive facilities and management of Changjiang Bearing.
According to Honeywell officer, they will spend USD400 million in purchsing materials in China this year.
Changjiang Bearing Industrial Corporation mainly produce bearings for auto, motorcycle, electrical motor, construction machine etc. They have passed ISO9002, ISO9002/QS9000/VDA6.1, ISO/TS 16949. CJB is their registered brand.
