Laigang Develop High-end Bearing Steel 55SiMoV Together with ZWZ Bearing Group Co.,Ltd, Laigang Iron & Steel Group Special Steel division has developed the high-end bearing steel 55SiMoV shortly. The product has reached world advanced level in major features, leading to a new progress in readjustment of product-mix of special steel in China. Reportedly, price of this 55SiMoV will be above 10,000 yuan/ton. The product enjoys the merits of high hardenability, high obdurability, high temperature resistant, impact resistant, wear resistant etc. having good prospects in future sale. In the course of developing, Laigang further improved their processing craft and employed many advanced technologies, including terminal process control(TPC), narrow composition control(NCC), vacuum air removal etc. Thus, they can produce the high quality 55SiMoV. Laigang Iron & Steel Group, founded in 1970, is a large steel maker in Northern China's Shandong province. They produce almost all kinds of steel products, including some special steel. In 2006, their annual sale were RMB40 billion, output of steel 10.6 million tons, pig iron 9.49 million tons, steel prodcuts 10.28 million tons.
