Jan. 19-26 Roundup of Steel Markets In China (Jan. 19 - 26) This week see little fluctuation in bearing steel price, deal volume remain in average level. During this week, several steel makers raise their prices: Jan. 22, Dongbei Special Steel raise price of GCr15 by 50 yuan/ton; Jan. 24, Xining Special Steel raise price of GCr15 by 100 yuan/ton; GCr15Si by 100 yuan/ton; Jan. 24, Shandong Juneng Special Steel raise price of GCr15 by 50 yuan/ton to 3750 yuan/ton; Jan. 26, Huarun Special Steel raise price of GCr15 by 100 yuan/ton to 4300 yuan/ton; In the market, deal volume remain in low level, available stock is limited, deal price is the same as last week. According to analysts, the substantial price-rise early this month will lead to a stability in price in following days; there are few possibility for another obvious price-rise, the price are expected to maintain in next week. Statistically, the average price of bearing steel has increased by 0.5% from last week, 4.2% higher than previsou month.
