SKEFKO Cape Wins One Million Rand Order
SKF South Africa (Pty) Ltd registered SKEFKO South Africa (Pty) Ltd, a retail distribution and Industrial solutions company as their Broad Based Black Empowerment initiative in July, 2006. The opening of SKEFKO Cape took place shortly after the launches of SKEFKO Kwazulu Natal (late August 2006) and SKEFKO Gauteng (early September 2006).
SKEFKO Managing Director, Christian Chipamaunga, says: "This is very exciting news for SKEFKO, and I am confident that this is just the beginning of greater things to come from SKEFKO Cape. The SKEFKO Cape team has been making great inroads into all sectors in the Western Cape and it is very encouraging to see the fruits of their labour. Wesley Larey has been with SKF since 1999 as Internal Sales representative and, after gaining experience in this position, Wesley secured a position as External Sales representative for SKF Paarden Eiland in January 2002. In August 2006 he took up his management position at SKEFKO Cape.

SKEFKO Cape, based at # 4 Milner Road, Paarden Eiland has a staff complement of five and occupies a 350 square meter open-plan area that accommodates both the warehouse and sales counter.
