Shenke Bearing Win China Nuclear Club Membership Dongfang Engineering Co.,Ltd, subordinated to China National Nuclear Corporation(CNNC), inspected and approved Shenke Slide Bearing Co.,Ltd as their qualified supplier, awarding them the “Qualified Supplier Certificate”. It is reported that Shenke is the first slide bearing producer who win such certificate from CNNC. Shenke Slide Bearing has maintained good momentum of growth in recent years. They have been worked under extra and prolonged shift since the just ended Spring Festival Holidays. As a result, their sales in the first three months are likely to total 55 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 40 percent. According to the company, their sales target in 2007 are 250 million yuan, up 35% from the prior year. As a former county level enterprise which is too small to be noticed, Shenke formed a joint venture, Zhuji Bearing Bush Co.,Ltd, with Shanghai Electrical Motor Facotry in December 1996. From then on, they were developing into a company meeting modern coporation system. In 2006, they recorded a sales of nearly 200 million yuan, along with a tax payment of almost 50 million yuan. Shenke mainly produce slide bearings, such as insert slide bearing, thrust slide bearing, bush-adjustable slide bearing etc. And the company attached great importance to technical reforms. They have invested 120 million yuan to carry out technical reform since 2003, which have further improved their productive capacity. Owing to the heavily funded technical reform, they were becoming more and more attractive to foreign customers. In 2005, Shenke established partnership successively with Siemens, GE, Alstom and other suppliers in the field of energy device. Besides, they became Siemens’s first qualified supplier of slide bearing in Asia in that October. To further expand their production, Shenke are expected to spend 50 million yuan to continue the technical reform in 2007. At the same time, their R&D Center, costed 30 million yuan, are under construction in Shanghai and will put into practical use at the end of March. China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) was established on July 1, 1999 upon approval of the State Council. It is a conglomerate directly under the leadership of the central government, and also a large state-owned enterprise directly under the supervision and control of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council.
