Cixi Bearing Export Yield Substantial Resut at Beginning 2007 Statistics from Ningbo customs shows, bearing export of Cixi city have scored a substantial result in the first two months this year. The bearing export were 175 million sets, worth of USD47.04 million, a year-on-year increase of 53.1% and 52.3% from the earlier year respectively. Cixi city contributed to 72.6% of Ningbo’s bearing export. Reportedly, during the first two months, about 172 million bearings were exported through general trade, a year-on-year increase of 53.8%, accounting for 98.3% of Cixi's total bearing export in that period; other 3.0212 million ones were exported by means of processing trade, grew by 20.5% from prior year. As was informed, Cixi bearings are mainly exported to countries in EU, American, UAE, India etc. Among the above mentioned countries, 43.5523 million were exported to EU, increased by a 35.9% year-on-year; 16.8422 million to American, increased by 49%; the figures for UAE and India are 27.6867 million, 201% and 25.1579 million, 81.4% respectively. Ball bearings are still dominating Cixi’s bearing export.
