SEC MW Wind Power Generator Debut in Shandong Two wind power generators made by Shanghai Electric Corporation have their presence in the site of first-phase construction of Shandong Luneng’s 48.75MW Wind Power Project in Laizhou. This is the debut show of SEC’s MW wind power generator in China. Wind power generation is one of the key scientific projects in Shanghai. For its character of environment-friend, wind power generation have great potential in the market. From last year to now, SEC has signed wind power generator supplying contract with Shanxi Guodian Corporation and Shandong Luneng Group. Laizhou project is under the contract that SEC signed with Shandong Luneng in Sept. 2006. According to the contract, SEC are obliged to provide 39 wind power generator units with capacity of 1.25MW. The generator unit will be based on the highest tower in China, about 91.5m in height. Shanghai Electric Corporation (SEC) is the largest manufacturing enterprise in China.
