Fangyuan Slewing Ring Start New Site Construction On Mar. 28, Maanshan Fangyuan Slewing Ring Co.,Ltd and Maanshan Steel & Iron Group jointly held the groundbreaking ceremony for Fangyuan’s Forging Equipment Factory and second-phase construction of Maanshan Steel’s Steel Product Processing Division. Leaders from local government attended the ceremony. On the ceremony, leaders from Maanshan Steel and Fangyuan gave speeches, introducing the two projects respectively. Qian senli, chairman and general manager from Fangyuan, said: “In order to help strengthen Fangyuan Slewing Ring, achieve better integration of available resources, we decide to move the Forging plant into Jinjiazhuang Industrial Park where we are going to invest 50 million yuan to build a new site.” “After the completion of new site, number of our air hammer and electro-hydaulic hammer will rise from 12 to 200; production craft and technical content will be enhanced to large extent; quality are expected ot reach domestic advanced level.” Qian added. At the end of his speech, Qian appreciated the great support provided by local government, indicating the projects will surely be great success. After the founding of Fangyuan Slewing Ring, production of slewing ring has been expanding rapidly. Thus, the company decided to move the Forging Equipment Plant into a new site, so that there will be enough space for the production and operation of both forging equipment division and its slewing ring division. As a result, Fangyuan purchased a piece of land for industrial-use covering 40mu (26,640m2) in the opposite side to their existing base.
