Apr.6-13 Roundup of Steel Markets In China (Apr.6-13) Amount of bearing steel traded this week was in a stable level, with a slight price-rise. At the beginning of April, distributors faced little fiscal pressure, willing to purchase more steel from steel makers. However, the deal volume was not increased notably, because of the limited steel stock in the market, which maybe influenced by the speed upgrading of railway vehicle. Facing the pressure posed by raw material, steel markers continue raising their price for bearing steel. Among them, Xining Special Steel and Xinye Special Steel raised their price by 100 and 150 yuan/ton respectively. Other makers followed them with slight rise. In next week, bearing steel will be traded almost the same as this week, slight price-rise is possible.
