NIPPON STEEL Visit Guangyang Bearing
Accompanied by leaders of ZWZ Export division, the four member delegation of NIPPON STEEL, the largest steel maker in Japan, visited Wafangdian Guangyang Bearing Co.,Ltd on Mar. 17. Yang shoutian, manager of Guangyang Bearing, met the foreign guests, having talk about their further cooperation..
According to the foreign guest, NIPPON STEEL had been regular client of several famous Japanese bearing makers. But problems of those bearings forced them to choose some imported one.
After countless inspection over foreign bearing makers, they still failed to find a suitable candidate. Later, their Hirohata Works purchased some large size bearings from Guangyang Bearing, a subsidiary of HRB Bearing Group, for a trial use. Those bearings are satisfactory in performance, still rotating well in the works. Therefore, the Nippon Steel headquarters planned their tour to Guangyang Bearing for a further cooperation.
“We come here for purchasing large bearings as critical parts of metallurgy equipments. Quality is our first consideration. Thus, we have been ordered to pay paramount importance on purchasing the bearings. We have specified the large-sized bearing we need, please provide us with the quality products as soon as possible. We hope that we, both parties, could expand our collaboration in future, establishing a long-term and significant partnership.” said one of the Japan visitor.
During the visit, the visitors had a careful inspection over Guangyang Bearing, including their R&D capability, product performance comparison with foreign equivalent, process of technology localization, productive capacity, technical strength, production lines, products-mix, base material of bearings, quality control system, examination of finished products etc. Besides, the guests asked Guangyang about their export business and systems of post-sale service, price determination as well as delivery management.
The result of inspection satisfied the visiting customers. And they were further pleased when they were told that Guangyang Bearing can be comparable with NSK in bearing design, production procedure and the thermal treatment craft in particular. The Japan customer said that they hope Guangyang could make them the world leading bearings with quality steel, imported or China made.
