Apr.13-20 Roundup of Steel Markets In China (Apr. 13 - 20) Bearing steel was traded the same as last week, changes were little in price and deal volume. For the shortage of billet steel and other raw material, output of bearing steel was impacted, causing limited market stock. At the same time, the sixth speed upgrading of railway transportation affected the delivery of steel. Thus, less delivery became another cause for low level of market stock. Despite the rising price of some steel makers like Juneng, Huaigang etc., deal price didn't follow the rising trend. It's estimated that pressure on transportation will be eased in future, bringing slight rise of market stock. Due to the strain on steel billet resource, band of such rise will be narrow.
