LYC Bearing Add More Value to New Products Despite of 12.12%’s decrease in types of new product, LYC Bearing recorded an increase of 69.74% in first quarter’s output value, indicating the growing added-value of LYC’s new products. In the first quarter, LYC Bearing targeted the promising fields such as construction machine, wind power generator, harbor facilities, metallurgy, slewing ring etc. strengthening their efforts in developing products featuring high technical content, high added value, precision and complex in structure. And they made notably results in this regards. Of the new products LYC developed in first quarter, there are 6 bearings for construction machine, 8 for ships, 10 for precision machines etc. At the same time, the company expressed their concerns in the process of developing, including lacking awareness of developing in advance, inability of obsolete equipments etc. To solve these problems, the company are going to establish a long-term system for developing new products, steadily improving cost calculating system and approval system for new products, further increasing their investment on technical reform to meet the requirement of new product developing.
