Emerson Power Transmission Moving Headquarters to Florence Emerson Power Transmission is relocating its headquarters from Ithaca, N.Y. to Florence. The move is expected to affect about 55 high-level positions in Ithaca that would either move with the office or be repositioned to oversee production in Ithaca.The move should be completed in 2009. The company, a division of Emerson Electric, constructs parts for mechanical transmission drives, components and bearings.Company officials told the Ithaca Journal that the move will provide better access to 14 Emerson plants.
