Norplex-Micarta Announces RTB320X for Fine Machining Applications(Pic)
RTB320X has a distinct advantage when used for ball bearing retainer rings and cages. Other materials, such as steel, require frequent re-lubrication to reduce the wear on steel bearing balls. With RTB320X, lubricant is applied once and remains active for the life of the bearings.
RTB320X is manufactured in the standard length of 48” (1219mm) with inside diameters ranging from 0.187” – 48” (4.75mm – 1219mm), outside diameters ranging from 0.250” – 50” (6.35mm – 1270mm), and wall thickness ranging from 0.031” – 1” (0.79mm – 25.4mm).
RTB320X is also suitable for cams, gaskets, collars, sleeves, brake linings, timing wheels, hydraulic rings, light-duty gears, and thrust washers. RTB320X meets requirements of NEMA/ASTM Grade LE for tubing.
