C&U Group Pass RoHS Compliance Zhejiang Commission of Commerce & Trade, Zhejiang Entry-exit Inspection & Quarantine Bureau jointly released a list of RoHS Directive Approval Products (RDAP) shortly. C&U Group was included. As was informed, aim of selecting RDAP is to help domestic M.E. product exporters find suppliers meeting RoHS. So that exporters can spend less time in finding qualified suppliers, promoting export of M.E products in Zhejiang province. Since last year, local authorities across Zhejiang have received so many enterprises’ application for being listed. Finally, of the 88 candidates, altogether 76 enterprises were accepted being listed in the RDAP. The Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive (RoHS) took effect on July 1 2006, restricting the use of six hazardous materials found in electrical and electronic products. The materials include lead (Pb), mercury (Hg), cadmium (Cd), hexavalent chromium (CrVI), polybrominated biphenyls (PBB) and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE). In order to respond to the RoHS problem, C&U Group improved themselves actively in the aspects of raw material purchase, production, sales etc. laying a solid foundation for their global expansion. C&U Group, founded in 1991, is one of the largest bearing producers in China. Besides, they are involved in other industries like super-market, M.E. product trading etc. They can produce bearings with inner diameter from 3 to 480 mm, with annual capacity of more than 300 million.
