TBM Expand Wind Turbines Bearings TBM (Zhejiang Tianma Bearing Co., Ltd), gaining a great profit for its railway bearing, has now decided to invest 216 million Yuan in Chengdu Branch for the technology improvement of precision large bearings. It is reported that TBM will focus on the development of precise large bearing ranging from Φ430mm to Φ5000mm, mainly for wind turbines, aiming to achieve the annual capacity of 120000 sets. With the unprecedented development in the wind power generation industry, wind power bearings, as the crucial component, also witness increasing demand. Currently, precise large bearings mainly rely on import, but it usually costs 1-2 years. Thus, the domestic supply of this kind of bearing falls greatly short of demand.
