Vice Mayor of Dalian Visit Wafangdian Bearing Base Mr. Sun Guangtian, vice mayor of Dalian paid a visit to Wafangdian city to have a survey about the local bearing industry. As an important origins and cradle for China bearings, bearing industry in Wafangdian has stepped into the right track after endeavor of seven decades. Since last year, the total bearing sales had reached RMB 7.08 billion, in which private companies accounted for RMB 3.6 billion. Statistically, the number of the bearing companies and supporting companies are currently over 450, in which 400 are bearing manufacturers. There are 7 leading bearing manufactures in Wafangdian City: ZWZ Group Wafangdian Metallurgical Bearing Group Co.,Ltd Wafangdian Guangyang Bearing Group Co.,Ltd Wafangdian Yuandong Bearing Group Corp Wafangdian Dongxu Non-standard Bearing Co.,Ltd Wafangdian Mechanical Bearing Manufacturing Co., Ltd. Wafangdian Yunfeng Group Corp There are 210 large bearing companies whose sales are RMB 6.32 billion, accounting for 89.3% of the total sales. There are five companies whose sales excess 100 million, including Wafangdian Metallurgical Bearing Group Co.,Ltd, Wafangdian Guangyang Bearing Group Co.,Ltd, Wafangdian Metallurgical Bearing Group Co.,Ltd. There are 18 companies whose sales run over RMB 50 million. Commenting on the bearing industry in Wafangdian, Mr. Sun said it was important to establish Wafangdian into a bearing base, which will not only drive China bearing development, but also promote the economic growth of Wafangdian City.
