(July 13-July 20) There was no obvious change for China bearings steel market this week. The deals in Chongqing dropped sharply due to a rare heavy rainstorm, while in other areas, the deals continued to show signs of steady weakening. Although most steel makers kept the steady quotation, but some a few slightly reduced the price into order to achieve more orders.
As far as raw material was concerned, the price of high chrome was 8300Yuan/ton,1.2% lower than that of last week. The bearing steel distributors aren't optimistic about the market in the last ten-days of July. According to their estimation, the market will continue to show signs of steady weakening due to stagnant deals.
The Mysteel-SSPI (Special Steel Price Index) compositive index stays in 108.4, 1.8 points lower than 110.2 of last week.

[East China Area]
The market trend in Shanghai was relatively stable this week. Up to this weekend, the prices of annealing steel from Baosteel Special Steel (former 5th plant) were:
Φ12-25 , 6,100 yuan / ton;
Φ26-60, 6,000 yuan / ton,
Φ65-130 6,600 yuan / ton.
Northeast Special Steel Plants Quoted:
GCr15 hot steel was priced at 4,870 yuan / ton,
Annealing Casting steels was 5,600 yuan / ton;
GCr15hot-rolled from Wuxi CRC was priced at 4,750 yuan / ton. Non-annealing steel GCr15Φ60 produced by Zhengzhou Yongtong Plant is 4,200 yuan / ton.Non-annealing steel from Xingcheng Special Steel was priced at 4,800 yuan / ton.
The market prices in Hangzhou this week were basically stable. Until this weekend non-annealing GCr15Φ16-60 from Shi steel was quoted 4,750 yuan / ton.
Non-annealing GCr15Φ50 produced by Beiman Special Steel was priced at 4,600 yuan / ton;
The Annealing steel GCr15Φ100 from Xining Special Steel Plant was 5,800 yuan / ton.
Annealing GCr15Φ100 produced by Northeast Special Steel was 5,600 yuan / ton.
[Central South Area]
Now the quotations were as follows: Up to the weekend non-annealing GCr15 produced by ZhengZhou YongTong was priced at 4,200 yuan / ton in Luoyang market. Non-annealing GCr15Φ30-70 from DaYe Special Steel was quoted 4,800 yuan / ton. The quotation of annealing steel Φ50-130 from XiNing Special Steel was 5,800 yuan / ton.
The non-annealing GCr15 and continuously casting annealing steel from ChangCheng Special Steel were respectively 4,500 yuan / ton and 4,900 yuan / ton.
Market prices in ChangSha area this week were stable with inadequate market resources Up to the weekend GCr15 hot rolled products from DaYe Special Steel was priced at 4,800 yuan / ton.
Annealing steel GCr15Φ100 made by Xining Special Steel was 5,800 yuan / ton.
Non annealing GCr15Φ30-70 from LaiWu Special Steel was quoted 4,400 yuan / ton.
[Southwest & Northwest Area]
Now all the market quotations were as follows: Up to the weekend, non-annealing GCr15Φ20-50 from XingCheng Special Steel was priced at 4700-4800 yuan / ton in ChongQing area. Annealing steel GCr15Φ80-150 produced by XiNing Special Steel was traded at 4,600 yuan / ton. Annealing steel GCr15Φ20-50 from Chong Special Steel was at 5000 yuan / ton. Annealing GCr15Φ50 from Shi Steel was quoted 4750 yuan / ton. Non-annealing GCr15Φ100 which made by Xining pecial Steel was priced at 5600 yuan / ton.
[North Area]
Quotations in North area were as follows:
Up to this weekend, the quotations from Northeast Special Steel in ShenYang market were:
Annealing (casting) GCr15Φ80-120 was 6,300 yuan / ton.
Annealing steel Φ25-60 was priced at 5800 yuan / ton;
Non-annealing Φ18-70 was quoted 4700 yuan / ton.
In Harbin market, annealing steel GCr15Φ100 from Ben Steel was priced at 5600 yuan / ton.
The prices of Northeast Special Steel were:
Non-annealing GCr15Φ40-75 was priced at 4800 yuan / ton;
Annealing steel was priced at 5500 yuan / ton;
Annealing steel annealing wood Φ13-25 was priced at 5700 yuan / ton.
