The National Tribology and Suface-engineering Symposium was Held Undertook by Henan University of Science and Technology, China tribology and surface-engineering symposium -------11th Five-year Plan academic forum for the youth on the challenge and countermeasures for tribology and surface-engineering was held in Luoyang City, Henan Province. Over 150 experts and scholars from universities, research academies and institutes were invited to attend this symposium. This symposium was supported by Engineering and Material Science Division of National Science and Technology Foundation Bulletin (NSTFB), the Science Division of National Education Departmemt, the national key laboratory of tribology in Qinghua University, Wuhan Research Institute of Materials Protection, Research Institute of LYC Bearing, and the magazines “Tribology”, “Materials Protection”, “Lubrication and Seals”, “Bearings” etc.
