CRC Won $3 million Order Of Exporting 4680 Axles to India Recently， Changchun Railway Vehicle Co., Ltd. (CRC) signed an agreement for exporting 4,680 axles worth of over $3 million to India with NEWTEC Company from Korean. They also signed a technological agreement. NEWTEC Company is the leading wheelsets manufacturer in Korean and accounts for 80% market share. After an on-spot investigation to Changchun Railway Vehicle Co., Ltd for three times, NEWTEC Company was very satisfied with the axle manufacturing capacity of CRC. At the same time, they showed understanding and recognition to the increasing price of the axles from CRC due to higher price of steel billet. With joint efforts of the two sides, NEWTEC Company signed a supplying contract for 4,680 pieces of wheelsets with Indian CONCOR Company after 23 days’negotiation on Jul 7th, 2007. These axles will be delievered in nine batches. The first and the second shipment will start in the end of November and December, 2007 respectively. The rest will be finished next year. This contract plays an important role in promoting the manufacturing and operation of railway and car fittings of CRC.
