Hybrid Ceramic Ball Bearing Put Into Production Line of Company NBL Nowadays, Hybrid ceramic ball bearing as new deep groove ball bearing has been put into production line of the company NBL(Ningbo Benlun Bearing Co.,Ltd) .Its material of inner and outer ring is bearing steel （Gcr15）.And there are silicon nitride（Si3N4）, zirconia（ZrO2）, and alumina（Al2O3）three kinds ceramic ball. The density of Ceramic Si3N4 is 3.20g/cm3, which is lower than 7.85g/cm3 of bearing steel. Therefore, ceramic rolling element can help expand the application fields of roller bearing by restraining centrifugal force caused by high-speed rotation and lowering loads of the rolling elements. In the meanwhile, it can significantly improve the bearing life of fatigue resistance by decreasing the rotating slides between rolling elements and raceway surface. Hybrid ceramic ball bearing can be used in high-speed rotating applications ,such as high-speed electric spindle, spindle for machine tool, dental engine, high-speed grinder heads, instrument and hard disk driver etc. Mr Hu, one head of technical department, said that we decided to develop hybrid ceramic ball bearing for its market potentials according to market investigation. The product was launched at the beginning of 2007 and put into production line in July. Now It is going on well with monthly manufacturing capability around 300,000sets.
