(August 31-September 7) The overall bearing steel market was ralative steady. Since Sep 1, the steel makers have slowed down price for bearing steel and basically stopped the crazy measures of rising price as in early stage. According to the feedback from the market,the deal volumes were satisfactory this week, especially in east China,south China and northeast area. But the transactions in some cities were undesirable. Currently,the market resources were increasing to some extent and distributors' stock were complemented continuously. It is estimated that The bearing steel price will continually maintain steady. The Mysteel-SSPI (Special Steel Price Index) compositive index stays in 117.9, 3.5 points higher than that of last week. [Price Adjustement by Steel Makers] August 31,Shi steel raised their price for kinds of steel by 100 yuan/ton on the basis of the price in August 21. August 31,Xingcheng Special Steel raised their price for alloy steels by 200-800 yuan/ton. August 31,Huaigang raised their price for quality steel by 100 yuan/ton. Sep 6,Shandong Juneng raised their price for bearing steel by 100 yuan/ton. Sep 7,Changcheng Special Steel raised their price for quality steel by 100 yuan/ton.
