Successful Trial of “Bearing Steel Spraying Technology” Recently，a successful trial of “bearing steel spraying technology” was carried out on the long products production line at Special Steel Branch of Bao Steel. With this online heat treatment, the reticular rate and the quality of bearing steel were further improved. Comparing with off-line heat treatment, bearing steel online heat treatment has advantages in processing cost, production cycle and quality control, but it is rather hard to control on the spot. Though the long products production line has the capacity of online heat treatment, the “once qualified rate of the reticular structure” is very low. Then Manufacturing Dept. of Special Steel Branch together with Long Product Mill improved rolling technics, manufacturing equipment and operating method, so as to guarantee the successful trial of this “bearing steel spraying technology”.
