Nov 23 -Nov 30 Roundup of Steel Markets in China

(Nov 23-Nov 30) The overall bearing steel price showed sign of a little rising, the deal volumes were not satisfactory, while some distributors stopped increasing more stock. Steel makers'stock were more than last week. The steel makers frequently launched price adjustment this week. The price adjustment from three special steel enterprises including Huai steel、Nan steel、Xining special steel resulting in the rising of bearing steel price especially in East China and North China area. For the raw material, except that the price of high chromium and iron ore kept a stable level,the steel billet price sharply icreased by 100Yuan/ton. The orders were less this week. Some distributors didn’t quoted price and bearing steel market is expected to stay firm next week. The Mysteel-SSPI (Special Steel Price Index) compositive index stays in 120.8, 0.7 point higher than that of last week.
