The Tenth Chairman of Shanghai CPPCC Visit Schaeffler Anting R&D Centre (Shanghai ) Mr Jiang Yiren, chairman of the 10th Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference Shanghai Committee, visited the R&D center in Anting Shanghai on the morning of February 19 2008, accompanied by Dr. Zhang Yilin, president of Schaeffler China Automotive, Mr. Kristian Ziegenbien, vice president of Schaeffler China LuK OEM Sales and Business Development, and Mr. Andre Greissner, testing manager of Schaeffler Asia Pacific Corporate Engineering. Mr Jiang Yiren showed particular interests in the exhibits in showroom in the first floor of R&D center. Dr. Zhang Yilin elaborated on Schaeffler’s product applications in Continously Variable Automatic Transmission, 6-speed Automatic Transmission, Front Axle, etc. Mr Jiang also showed great interests in rolling bearings for main shaft applications in aircraft engines, asking about the differences between bearings for industrial applications and automotive applications. The delegation included Mr Sun Yaming, vice director of Anting town in Jiading district Shanghai, Mr Xumin, vice general manager of Shanghai International Autocity Development Co, and Mr Zhu Ningning, vice director.
