TYHI Railway Axle Got EC Type Examination Certificate On the morning of March 6, Taiyuan Heavy Machinery (Group) Co., Ltd ( TYHI ) got an EC Type Examination Certificate for its railway wheels and axles. As the first Non-European company awarded with this certificate, TYHI has signed long term cooperation agreement with railway companies from Switzerland and Romania, which symbolized that China Railway Axle has entered European Market. Taiyuan Heavy Machinery Group Co. (TZ) was founded in 1950. A total of 12,500 employees work in Taiyuan, Shanxi, P.R.China. It is one of the 50 largest machinery manufacturers in China. TZ provides handing or excavating solutions for metallurgy, mine, hydropower plant with most comprehensive range of products and services for company like steel, mining, hydropower station etc. With a business volume of some RMB3 billion in 2002, TZ is Chinese market leader for electrical shovels, cranes, rolling mills, hydraulic and extrusion press, locomotive wheels/axles, coal gasifiers and fabrication of heavy steel structures.
