Oil-Mist Lubrication for Machine Pump Adopted by SINOPEC JJSH Company

The lubricants for sixteen catalytic machine pumps from SINOPEC JJSH Company were decreased by 70 – 80 with new oil-mist lubrication technology, which resulted in optimum lubrication and easier workforce as well. Meanwhile, the bearing life was prolonged 3 to 6 times. This new oil-mist lubrication greatly differed from the conventional ones. With the special system, lubricants are atomized in oil fog generator and then delivered to every lubricating point for pump lubrication. The new technology can ensure clean lubrication and greatly reduce the lubricants. In the past, about six buckets of lubricants were needed for 1 machine pump every quarter, but now only one bucket is enough half a year. In addition, cooling water in bearing box is not necessary for oil-mist lubrication and 80 litres of water is saved. SINOPEC JJSH Company will extend oil-mist lubrication technology to the whole company step by step. In order to make oil-mist lubrication system in good order, Catalytic Workshop requests all the workers to be familiar with the operation of oil-mist lubrication and grasp the controls parameter. Recently, company technicians were invited to offer special training for each shift with detailed explanation on the setting spot during the spare time.
