PKB Quality Manager Lake Appointed as a DMIR by the FAA

Pacamor Kubar Bearings (PKB) announced today that the company's Quality Manager, Chris Lake, has been granted a Certificate of Designation from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) as a Designated Manufacturing Inspection Representative (DMIR).
With the DMIR designation, Lake is approved to perform various functions on behalf of the FAA such as the issuance of Original Airworthiness Certificates (Form 8130-3) and Export Airworthiness Certificates for PKB TSO-C149 Aircraft Bearings. Lake may also conduct any inspections necessary to determine that prototype or production parts conform to design specifications and are in a condition for safe operation.
