May 23—May 30 Roundup of Steel Markets in China

(May 23—May 30) There was a general rise in bearing steel price. Until this weekend, The 50mm hot rolling GCr15 was priced at 7080 Yuan/ton and 100mm annealing GCr15 hit 8500 Yuan/ton, which respectively increased about 270 Yuan/ton and 250 Yuan/ton. The market price showed signs of advancing resulting from factory price rised.For the raw material, the price of pig iron was still rising and disposed steel was stable. As far as the ferroalloy was concerned, the price of high chrome has fallen.In June,besides Xining special steel will reduced half of planned output,some special steel enterprises will keep down the output.Market resouces was satisfactory especially China eastern region. Compared with the the volumes in last week,this week has reduced a little bit.It is estimated that bearing steel will remain the trend of increasing.
