(Jul 18—Jul 25) The bearing steel price basically kept a stable level. In this week, the 50mm hot rolling GCr15 was priced at 7379 Yuan/ton, while 100mm annealing GCr15 reached 8854Yuan/ton, which showed few changes. What was worth mentioning was that with the coming of Beijing Olympic games, Beijing enforced traffic blockade rustling in market resources shortage. So the bearing steel in Beijing will increase. For steel makers, some of them decreased bearing steel ex-factory price. Changcheng special steel in Southwest area decreased GCr15 by 200 Yuan/ton, while East China region remained stable. The bearing steel volumes were still not satisfactory. The market resources were limited as previous stage. Tthe bearing steel price will be stable next week. For the raw material, the high chrome stopped declining .The price of disposed steel was undergoing fluctuations. The pig iron in some regions lowered a little.
