The Largest Rolling Mill Bearing Successfully Carburized in Xibei Bearing

The largest bearing for rolling mill was successfully carburized in Xibei Bearing Co.,Ltd. With OD of 1590mm and height of 469mm, this 853kg bearing was developed for a large steel plant in China. It is reported the size and weight of this bearing have created new records in this company. But it is really a difficult job to have a carburization since the heavyweight of the bearing and mould, the low load-carrying capacity of the crane and the high temperature of carburizing furnace. After several times of test, the bearings was successfully carburized and all technical data were proved to meet the requirement. About Xibei Bearing Co.,Ltd.
