Xibei Bearing Co.,Ltd. (SZSE:000595) has announced that the company achieved RMB -18.80 million in net profit during the first half of 2008, a 287.09% decrease compared to the corresponding period of 2007. The company reported EPS was RMB 0.18 and RMB -16.37 million from operation profits during the first half of 2008. Xibei Bearing Co., Ltd. is principally engaged in the manufacture and distribution of various rolling bearings, under the brand name of NXZ. The Company provides over 3,000 types of bearings under nine series. The Company distributes its products in the domestic market (excluding Tibet) and the overseas markets, including Asia, Europe and the Americas. As of December 31, 2007, the Company had three major subsidiaries/associates.
