2008 China International Bearing Industry Exhibition Rolls Smoothly

The China Bearing Industry Association held it's 11th exhibition this year. The 2008 fair was held September 23-26, at the Shanghai Everbright Convention & Exhibition Center. The 600 or so exhibitors were renowned bearing corporations and factories, from countries such as the U.S. , Japan , Germany , Italy, the UK , Sweden, France, Korea , Spain, Switzerland , Singapore , Russia, India, Taiwan , China , and Hong Kong 's Special Administrative Region. The purpose for the exhibitions is for bearing industry enterprises to come together to compare and learn from each other. In a friendly atmosphere, old and new friends alike get together to discuss bearing related topics. Kicking off in 1990, and after 16 years of development, the China International Bearing Industry Exhibition (CIBIE) has matured internationally, and has become the world's largest professional bearing industry event. By 2006, the exhibition, which was also held at the Shanghai Everbright Convention & Exhibition Center , covered an area of 32,000 sq.m., housed 538 exhibitors from 17 countries, and accommodated more than 80,000 visitors. Enterprises from 34 countries participated in bearing discussions.
