SKF Indonesia Sponsored National Innovation Contest 2008

The 2008 National Innovation Contest was held in Bandung Institute of Technology supported by SKF as main sponsor. This event took place for three days on November 17, 18 and 19 with various activities like "Answering the Challenge of Global Change through Technology Innovation-Based Entrepreneurship" seminar. This event was attended by Ilpo Saarisivu as President Director of SKF Indonesia, which was also the speaker for seminar, and Mr. Jean Jacques Duquenoy, Innovation Processes Manager of SKF France as also one of the speaker in seminar. Apart from Seminar, there ware also Technology Innovation Exhibition, Technology Innovation Championship for College Student, and also Proving Physic Law Championship for Senior High School Student. After mock exhibition for two days, Constient team from ITB appeared as the winner of Technology Innovation Championship 2008. This team use software to equip the camera which they call the Eye-Aware Smart Surveillance Camera. The Second place went to the Kanopi team from UII Yogyakarta, while the third place went to the Walker Team, also from ITB. This is the second time for SKF Indonesia supporting National Innovation Contest, and SKF believe that innovation is the heart of being knowledge engineering company.
