Timken India revises Book Closure

Timken India Ltd has now announced with reference to earlier annoucement dated March 05, 2009 regarding Book Closure for AGM, that keeping in mind the convenience of shareholders and investors and also administrative convenience, it has been decided to change the period of book closure for the purpose of Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Company. Accordingly, the Register of Members and Share Transfer Books of the Company will remain closed from April 17, 2009 to April 24, 2009 (Both days inclusive) for the purpose of Annual General Meeting (AGM). The stock was trading at Rs.59.15, up by Rs.2.25 or 3.95%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.65 and low of Rs.57.80. The total traded quantity was 695 compared to 2 week average of 3269.
