May 8 -May 15 Roundup of Steel Markets in China

(May 8 -May 15 ) The overall bearing steel price showed sign of stability.Until the end of this week, the 50mm hot rolling GCr15 was priced at 4450 Yuan/ton, while 100mm annealing GCr15 was quoted 6554Yuan/ton,which same as last week. The several steel makers launched price adjustment this week,which including WUXI HUARUN,XIN YE steel,XINCHENG special steel.Shou steel increased bearing steel price by 100Yuan/ton for the blast furnace maintenance. The price adjustment didn't have obvious effect on the market.The distributors didn't quote high price beacause that poor demand of downstream distributors. It is expected that bearing steel price will keep firm next week.
